1. The Introducer shall at all times: 1.1 Conduct its business fairly and responsibly 1.2 Comply with all relevant Legislation including but not exclusively: The Consumer Credit Act 1974, The Data Protection Act 1998, FSA Regulations, and FISA requirements 1.3 Follow in all respects with the Office of Fair Trading Guidelines issued November 1997 for Introducers relating to non status lending. Further, the principles of good business practice contained in the guidelines should also be applied to all other aspects of business. 1.4 Hold a current Consumer Credit Licence covering all names in which the Introducer trades. 2. The Introducer hereby acknowledges that it is not authorised to use the name of The Introducer Centre or any associated group company in advertising material or to project itself as the authorised agent of The Blemain Group. 3. The Introducer will be responsible for ensuring that all enquiries for finance are processed correctly and comply with all current legislation (Consumer Credit Act, Financial Services Authority, Data Protection Act). 4. The Introducer Centre, will accept no liability for applications declined, either by The Introducer Centre or Phone a Loan Underwriters or those of the chosen lender when: b. Information given on references differs from that stated on the application form or at the time of enquiry c. Results of any valuation/survey deem the subject property to be unsuitable as security for a secured loan or a mortgage d. The chosen lender utilises an assessment method known as ‘credit scoring' and an application fails to meet the minimum score required for e. The chosen lender chooses for any other reason to decline the application. A copy of the Introducer's Consumer Credit Licence must be received before any commission payments can be released.
